Overall flavour profile
Ichuga is a creamy smooth well rounded coffee. A complex but sturdy filter. The vanilla notes add a sort of ice cream feel to it but once you dig a little deeper the fruits and florals come out as you would expect from a Nyeri coffee of this calibre. We get a jasmine tea note and a hint of tangy blackcurrant. It’s a sweet cup that holds up as both filter and espresso.
