Maria Magdalena - Guatemala
Milk Chocolate / Caramel / Sultana
Maria Magdalena is smooth on the tongue. It’s the perfect just-outta-bed cure; with welcoming notes of sweet caramel and rich chocolate accompanied by sunkissed sultana. Not too brutal on the senses first thing in the morning, Maria Magdalena tastes dreamy with both dairy and alternative milks. If you like your coffee black, these beans can also be used in V60 or aeropress.
Maria Magdalena is a first generation coffee grower in Concepcion Huista, Guatemala. She begins her process by selecting and de-pulping the best of her ripe cherries. They are then left in a tank to dry ferment for 24 hours before they are thoroughly washed. Afterwards, the coffee is once again placed in a tank of clean water to soak for approximately 8 hours. The coffee is then ready to be sun-dried; with the beans receiving sunlight for approximately 6 hours per day for 6 days, with routine turning of the beans every 40 minutes. The dried coffee is then packed and shipped to the warehouse ready for distribution.
Grown, processed and prepared with incredible care and attention to detail, Maria Magdalena is a high-quality, reliable, must-have staple in your coffee rotation. Kick off the start of a great year with great coffee!
