This lot comes from smallholders belonging to the Sidama group, with local languages Sidaamu Afoo and Amharic. Sourced through Primavera coffee importers, this natural  lot demonstrates their commitment to responsible sourcing. Their primary objective, whenever feasible, is to procure the entire output from every site they collaborate with. This not only provides their producer partners with greater market stability but also empowers them to concentrate on refining their production methods to enhance the quality of their coffees. Traceable and carefully curated to uphold a uniform flavour profile.

The Bensa district is situated within the renowned coffee-producing region of Sidama in Ethiopia. This area is celebrated for its high-quality coffee beans. Bensa is characterised by its ideal coffee growing conditions, including high altitudes, fertile soil, and suitable climate, all of which contribute to the exceptional flavour profile of its coffee  

The coffee from the Bensa district is known for its distinctive flavour notes, which can include floral aromas, fruity undertones, and a bright acidity.

Additionally, the coffee industry plays a significant role in the local economy, providing livelihoods for many residents of the Bensa district.
