After the success of Mandarino in 2024, we're delighted to announce its return. This exceptional coffee is sourced through our trusted partners at Minga Coffee, who specialize in the Huila region of Colombia.
Laura and William at Minga bring over two decades of invaluable experience across the coffee supply chain. From directly sourcing parchment from farmers to cupping, blending, milling, and exporting. Their care and long-standing relationships with the farmers, make them one of our most loved partners in Colombia.
Mandarino's name is inspired by both its flavour profile and its unique growing environment. This regional blend from South Huila, Colombia, is cultivated in an area known for the abundance of mandarin trees that grow alongside coffee plantations. Interestingly, this region is also home to a significant portion of Colombia's freshwater, contributing to the rich biodiversity that allows these exceptional coffee plants to flourish.
This year's Mandarino lives up to its reputation, offering a truly refreshing cup with bright notes of clementine and pear, a lingering aftertaste, and a delightful brown sugar-like sweetness.
We're thrilled to be able to offer this exceptional coffee once again.
