Apple Pie / Eton Mess / Blackberry Jam

A sweet, juicy and expressive signature espresso that's incredibly easy to enjoy. An upfront apple pie sweetness is followed by a gentle finish of blackberry jam. With milk, expect a rich and creamy cup, bringing out buttery pastry notes and a soft, fruity sweetness of Eton mess.

Sustainability is at the heart of their approach, with regenerative farming practices helping to protect the land while enhancing coffee quality.

Process

To ensure only perfectly ripe cherries are harvested, the family monitors their sugar content using Brix measurements. Arley employs a double fermentation process, beginning with a 72-hour oxidized fermentation followed by a 98-hour anaerobic fermentation in barrels fitted with degassing valves. Drying is carried out slowly in dryer sheds over 15 to 20 days to ensure consistent and uniform quality. 

Varietal

Striped Red Bourbon is a naturally occurring variant of the Bourbon variety. It is easily recognised by its distinctive red colour marked with orange striping. Alongside its striking appearance, this unique variety is prized for its outstanding cup quality and character
